The original purpose of this blog was to keep notes on conversations I was having with my brother-in-law, mostly debating religion. When the conversations dwindled, I decided to repurpose the blog, recording whatever thoughts I happen to be turning over at the moment.

I’m not a “professional” philosopher — just a dude with a deeply philosophical bent. Also, I’m a Reformed Christian, so a lot of what you’ll find here will be about that. My hope, though, is that it will be of interest to anyone of a philosophical persuasion, religious or not.

There’s no comment feature on the blog, but if you’d like to respond to something I’ve written, or just want to say hello, don’t hesitate to contact me. It helps to be familiar with who’s reading—words don’t exist in a void. If you write something really thought-provoking, I may ask your permission to post and respond to it, letter-to-the-editor-style.
